Dalmatia discovery tour

Finally some feedback for you!

Just a few highlights:
- winery trip with Maro ... Amazing experience in his home, he was so full of interesting info, charming
- Hotel Podstine - great hotel, staff
- Gaixa restaurant - amazing
Korcula - we loved (wish we were there longer); really liked Hotel Korsal
Dubrovnik - restaurant Dubrovnik was excellent
Boat from Split to Hvar - great way to go

Things we'd do different:
Macondo in Hvar not great
Ferry ride - filthy
Hotel Dubrovnik - almost "too" nice / too American
If driver from Dubrovnik to Solit would have been more of a tour guide, that would have been a nice addition. We did stop at salt flats and farmers market which was nice.

All in all, fantastic trip and we will be back and will send others your way!!

Balkans Explorer

Dear Vlasta, Joss and Eva arrived here in Greece yesterday after a fabulous holiday. They had a wonderful time and all the hotels were great; they especially enjoyed speaking to the drivers during their journeys! They are now Balkan experts....

once again, thank you for all your help and professionalism. I always knew they were in safe hands which was very comforting.

Thanks for your email. I am back home and settling-in, though still suffering a little from holiday blues!

Everyone in the group thoroughly enjoyed the trip and we are very grateful for all your help in organising it for us.

We enjoyed all the restaurants the guides brought us to and in particular we really liked the dinner in Hvar, the oyster and mussel picnic in Ston and the private lunch at Tatjana's. All the guides were informative and professional, but we would like to specially mention Igor who took us around in Zagreb and Plitvice Lakes and our skipper who took us to the Blue Cave and Hvar.

In terms of accommodation, my personal favourite was Judita Palace in Split. The staff there were friendly, pleasant and very welcoming. We had a fabulous stay there and I would definitely recommend that hotel to anyone who will visit Split. We were al... >>> read more>>>

We just arrived back in the US with big smiles on our faces from a great trip, and many wonderful memories from Croatia. Thanks for sending along the photos from Dom. We had a very enjoyable day with him.

We had a very positive experience with Secret Dalmatia. We found your service very professional, with excellent communication and responsiveness, and appreciated you checking in with us during the visit. The guides and captains you selected were all excellent - personable, friendly, knowledgeable and they made big efforts to make sure our experience was very positive. The vehicles used for transfers, and the boats were all top quality. The hotel choices and restaurant selections were all excellent.

We only have very minor suggestions:
- suggest guests bring water shoes since most all the beaches we visited were rocky

Dalmatian Coast Discovery

The trip although short was a ton of fun for both of us. Very few (if any) issues with the set up. All drivers and boat captain were true professionals. Hotels were all great as well. As a heads up Hotel Excelsior upgraded us to a 1 BR suite and it was a fantastic hotel. Probably the best of the three we stayed at….although Hotel Adriana’s location and amenities in Hvar were perfect. If I think of anything else I will send to you. Thanks again.
