Thanks for your email. I am back home and settling-in, though still suffering a little from holiday blues!

Everyone in the group thoroughly enjoyed the trip and we are very grateful for all your help in organising it for us.

We enjoyed all the restaurants the guides brought us to and in particular we really liked the dinner in Hvar, the oyster and mussel picnic in Ston and the private lunch at Tatjana’s. All the guides were informative and professional, but we would like to specially mention Igor who took us around in Zagreb and Plitvice Lakes and our skipper who took us to the Blue Cave and Hvar.

In terms of accommodation, my personal favourite was Judita Palace in Split. The staff there were friendly, pleasant and very welcoming. We had a fabulous stay there and I would definitely recommend that hotel to anyone who will visit Split. We were also lucky to have been allocated the three rooms in the separate section of the hotel. I definitely recommend those rooms as they offer a bit more privacy than the rooms in the main reception.

None of these points affected our trip but just a few comments or observations to share: (1) The Esplanade Hotel itself was elegant and comfortable and the restaurant staff and bell boys were all lovely, but the staff at the main reception were not friendly or welcoming. A few of the staff were quite dismissive. I understand this has nothing to do with Secret Dalmatia but I just wanted to share some feedback on this hotel in case you have other options you can consider. (2) We were fine with this but if there were another group of 6 people, you may consider hiring a slighter larger boat for the day trip to the Blue Cave and Hvar just so there is more seating available.

If I could change anything about our trip, I wish I could have stayed longer! I think I would have wanted an extra day in Rovinj to explore the area more!

Overall, we were all very happy and satisfied with Secret Dalmatia and your services which was excellent and very professional. I wont’ have any hesitation to recommend Secret Dalmatia to fellow travelers to Croatia!

Once again, thank you for all the assistance. I do hope to come to Croatia again!
