A note to thank you for the superb tour you organised for us. It was an education to see a country that has been at the crossroads of so much history and to listen to the first hand stories of people who have witnessed what is still history in the making. While the Dalmatian coast is a treasure and the facilities were superb, our most enduring memory will be of the friendly, tough and welcoming people. As one man put it, “If you come with a gun, you will eventually leave even if it takes 500 years but if you come with a bottle of wine you can stay forever”.
